Very happy to report that I have regained a fair amount of mobility. Still heading my neurosurgeon’s orders to take it very easy the first six weeks. No bending, twisting my upper body or any heavy lifting. So I continue to do a lot of reading and phone/video calls with clients. Not to mention some research and writing as time permits. More on that over the next few weeks.
Delighted to be able to join up with a group of my motorcycle riding friends and spouses for a fantastic Valentine’s Day breakfast at the Silverado Market & Cafe in Modjeska Canyon. (A must visit for the adventurist tourist) We had a blast. Great food, very nice ambiance, with an eclectic mix of patrons.

Located in its namesake Modjeska Canyon the market is the rest stop of choice for those who venture out on their bicycles, solo or in group rides, to make the climb to the Maple Springs gate. The downhill return is totally epic. On the weekends the customers range from weekend-warrior cyclists to car clubs (older 911 and bathtub Porsches when we arrived) to dual-sport motorcycle riders like us, and a plethora of 4×4’s which of course I was driving.

Also pleased to say that I finally got the preliminary business website up and running. A giant thank-you to the Happiness Engineers at WordPress who helped me sort out many of my self inflicted navigation errors.
